AFRICA
Travelling to Africa?
Obviously the requirements differ from country to country across the African continent, but we work with the very best agents in Africa to give you the latest advice and to prepare a detailed travel plan for your pet.
Which part of Africa are you travelling to?
Whilst South Africa is probably the most popular African destination, we can assist pretty much anywhere through our great partners there.
Travelling to Australia?
All pets travelling to Australia, must enter the country via Melbourne and do 10-30 days quarantine on arrival at Mickleham Quarantine Facility just outside Melbourne. Pets travelling to Australia need;
- An IATA/Airline compliant sky kennel
- A DEFRA Export Health Certificate - there is an extensive list of veterinary preparation that takes up to 7 months. Please call for the latest preparation requirements. We will provide you and your vet with a detailed veterinary preparation itinerary to make sure your pet is all set for the day of departure. The latest Australian requirements can be found here
- An Australian Import Permit
- A confirmed booking at Mickleham Quarantine Facility
Australia only allow Dogs, Cats and Horses in at the moment. We can take care of everything for you, just give us a call and one of our experts will talk you through the whole process.
Which part of Australia are you travelling to?
We offer door to door travel plans for all our clients, so once the quarantine is done, we can arrange onward flights/delivery anywhere in Australia. It's a big old place, so let us help with the last leg of the journey.

Travelling to Canada?
It is really simple for pets to travel to Canada. All they need is;
- An IATA/Airline compliant sky kennel
- A microchip
- A rabies vaccination
- A fit to Fly certificate from a vet

Travelling to China?
Depending on your destination, China can be quite restrictive and may include a quarantine period.

Which part of China are you travelling to?
The regulations vary across China, depending which province you are going to. Depending upon circumstances, they may be a pre-travel quarantine period and potentially quarantine on arrival too.
CHINA
HONG KONG
Travelling to Hong Kong?
Hong Kong is a wonderfully exciting place to live. Pets travelling to Hong Kong require;
- An IATA/Airline compliant sky kennel
- DEFRA Export Health Certificate
- Microchip
- Valid Rabies vaccination
- Import Permit
On arrival, the administration of a rabies vaccination and licensing for dogs aged over five months is mandatory in Hong Kong. Vaccinations and licensing can be completed via a licensing centre of the Agriculture & Fisheries Department. Dog licences are valid for three years and require the administration of a rabies vaccination to be renewed. We can put you in touch with a great vet in HKG who can advise on local requirements.
Which part of Hong Kong are you travelling to?
Travelling to India?
India has very strict entry requirements and arrival procedures.
We effectively have to prepare the documents twice, once to send off to India to get a No Objection Certificate back from the Indian Authorities and then again to revalidate the documents for the actual trip.

NEW ZEALAND
Travelling to New Zealand?
All pets travelling to New Zealand, must do 10 days quarantine on arrival at one of the 3 Quarantine Facilities.
Pets travelling to New Zealand need;
- An IATA/Airline compliant sky kennel
- A DEFRA Export Health Certificate - there is an extensive list of veterinary preparation that takes up to 6 months. Please call for the latest preparation requirements. We will provide you and your vet with a detailed veterinary preparation itinerary to make sure your pet is all set for the day of departure. The latest New Zealand requirements can be found here
- A New Zealand Import Permit
- A confirmed booking at one of the quarantine facilities
New Zealand only allow Dogs, Cats and Chinchillas in at the moment. We can take care of everything for you, just give us a call and one of our experts will talk you thorough the whole process.
Things you need to know about New Zealand
There are 3 quarantine facilities in New Zealand, 2 in the Auckland area and 1 in Christchurch on the South Island.
Travelling to Singapore?
What a beautiful place to live! Pets travelling to Singapore require;
